Saw an article claiming DVR usage made it more difficult to judge success or failure of TV shows.
My response? Check Tumblr or Twitter. All the fans there will tell you with gifs.
I never figured out how they judged which ones were successful on TV.
They use a combo of Nielsen data, same day DVR views, and DVR views within 3 days. There is also data on watching within five days but it’s not as important.
